The Hall of Fame centerfielder Ken Griffey Jr. was issued this Rawlings Pro-TB glove during the 1993 MLB season. Griffey, a star for the Mariners from 1989 to 1999, was among baseball’s very best players in 1993. The Donora, Pennsylvania native hit 45 homers, with 109 RBI and a .309 batting average while making his fourth straight American League All-Star team. Griffey would go on to play 22 seasons in the Majors, returning to the Mariners for the final two seasons of his career in 2009 and 2010. In 2016, Griffey was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame with a record 99.3% of the vote.

This offered Rawlings Pro-TB glove is made of black leather, with a “Trap-Eze” web style featuring custom double lacing. “Ken Griffey Jr.” is embroidered in yellow on the thumb of this lefty glove in Rawlings one-season “Swiss Script” style. A red Rawlings tag is sewn on the wrist while a circular Rawlings logo is located near the thumb. While this glove displays substantial use, “aspects of the use characteristics, namely the excessive wear and staining of the Rawlings labels” prohibits the experts at PSA/DNA from confirming game use by Griffey Jr. This game issued glove comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00540).
