1993 marked a turning point for the Bronx Bombers. After more than a decade of mediocre teams, the Yankees began to assemble a squad that would come to dominate the American League and establish a dynasty of champions that would extend well into the next century. Though the 1993 team finished seven games behind Toronto, this would be the last year the Yanks would miss the post season until 2008. Sometime during that 1993 season, the team took time out to sign this unused Jim Leyritz Rawlings 256B model bat. More than 20 members of the 1993 Yankees have signed in black and blue marker including Jim Leyritz, Paul O’Neill, Lee Smith, Bernie Williams, Don Mattingly and Kevin Maas. This bat comes with an LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13271) for the bat and JSA (Z83932) for the signatures.
