Rickey Henderson is widely considered the greatest leadoff hitter to have played the game. 13 times in his career, he scored more than 100 runs in a single season and retired with a MLB record 2,295 runs scored. Henderson led the league in stolen bases 12 times in his career and retired with a MLB record 1,406 stolen bases. Henderson played for nine different organizations, but spent most of his time, in separate stints, with the Oakland Athletics.

Henderson wore this size 42 Russell Athletic Oakland A’s home jersey during the 1993 season, where he appeared in 80 games before being traded to the Toronto Blue Jays. This button-down jersey features “Athletics” sewn across the chest in green and yellow tackle twill with a paraph.
