Part of a very successful right field platoon for the National League champion Philadelphia Phillies, Wes Chamberlain had the best season of his 6-year major-league career in 1993, batting .282 with 12 home runs and 45 RBI in 284 at-bats while appearing in 96 games, he hit .364 with three doubles against the Atlanta Braves in the NLCS. Chamberlain signed this size-48, button-down, pinstripe home Phillies jersey on the upper left panel above the Phillies logo patch handsomely stitched across the front. Chamberlain’s name is stitched in red tackle twill across the back above his number 44, which also appears on the left shoulder with an official 1993 World Series logo patch on the right above a small red Russell athletic logo stitched onto the sleeve. The Russell Athletic/Diamond Collection label is affixed to the front right tail and in the waistband of the size 37 uniform pants with a “44 Chamberlain 37/39-28-93” strip tag. The uniform appears to be only slightly worn as Chamberlain made only two plate appearances in the Series, but he still got his ring. Signature is PSA/DNA authenticated and the two-piece lot comes with LOA from game used uniform expert Dave Miedema.
