Wayman Tisdale was an effortless scorer in the post and a tenacious rebounder. Tisdale played 12 seasons in the NBA for the Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings, and Phoenix Suns. Tisdale is one of the most decorated college basketball players of all-time, winning three consecutive Big Eight Player of the Year Awards and earning a First-Team All-America spot in each of his three college seasons. In 2009, Tisdale was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame.
This offered jersey was worn by Tisdale during the 1994-95 season when he played for the Phoenix Suns. Tisdale played in 65 games for the Suns, where he averaged 10 points per game. This white mesh home jersey features “SUNS” and Tisdale’s number “23” sewn on in purple and black tackle twill with and orange and purple sun streak leading to a basketball printed on the jersey between “SUNS” and “23”. The back of the jersey has “TISDALE” and “23” sewn on in purple and black tackle twill. The collar and sleeve openings have a purple and orange stripe made of a ribbed material. The Champion tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail along with tag that reads “DESIGNED & TAILORED 94/95 EXCLUSIVELY FOR PHOENIX SUNS BODY LENGTH +3”. This jersey displays light to moderate wear and comes with a LOA from Regina Tisdale, the wife of late Wayman Tisdale.
