The Brazilian Football Confederation was presented with this medal in honor of their fourth FIFA World Cup title in 1994. Brazil won in 1958, 1962, and 1970 before taking the 1994 FIFA World Cup title with a victory over Italy in penalties at the Rose Bowl. The shootout finished 3-2 in favor of Brazil, with Franco Baresi, Daniele Massaro, and Roberto Baggio all missing their spot kicks in the 100-degree Los Angeles weather. This offered medal is shaped like a ribbon and is etched in high relief with “Confederacao Brasileira de Futebol”, “Brasil Benemerito”, “1958 1962 1970 1994”, and four stars. Additionally, an enameled Brazil crest is present on the front. Etched in high relief on the back of the medal is the 1994 FIFA World Cup trophy. This medal comes with a LOA from a CBF employee.
