What do you say about a guy like Kirby Puckett? The 10-time All-Star, two-time World Champion, American League batting champion and All-Star MVP was cruising along to a Hall of Fame bound career when an eye ailment prematurely ended his career before the 1996 season. In his last full season, 1994, Puckett was the AL RBI leader and looked like there were many more great seasons ahead. This Louisville Slugger P116 bat dates from Puckett’s last great season before his premature retirement. This bat displays outstanding game use with a handle crack. Puckett’s number “34” is hand written on both the knob and barrel end. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B10363) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.5.
