Former closer Lee Smith joined the Baltimore Orioles for the 1994 season and promptly led the American League in saves with 33 during the strike –shortened season. Smith signed this black Baltimore Orioles batting practice jersey diagonally on the “4” on the back of the jersey in black marker and inscribed “Game used” on the middle rung of the “4”. The pullover jersey with two buttons at the collar was manufactured by Russell Athletic and is a size 52. “Orioles” sewn on across the chest with a paraph in orange and white tackle twill. Smith’s number “47” is sewn on the left center chest in orange and white. “SMITH” is sewn on in orange and white on a matching black name plate on the back of the jersey which is centered above his number “47”, which is also sewn on in orange and white tackle twill. The right sleeve has the “MLB 125th ANNIVERSARY” patch sewn on and the Russell tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail with the “ 3” EXTRA BODY LENGTH” flag and “SMITH 94-1” tag. This jersey comes with a LOA from Lee Smith.
