     Former closer Lee Smith joined the Baltimore Orioles for the 1994 season and promptly led the American League in saves with 33 during the strike –shortened season. Smith wore this home white Baltimore Orioles jersey during the 1994 season. Manufactured by Russell Athletic, this size 52 (3” EXTRA LENGTH” white button down jersey features “Orioles” sewn on across the chest with a paraph in orange and black tackle twill. Smith’s number “47” is sewn on the left center chest in orange and black. “SMITH” is sewn on in orange and black on a matching white name plate on the back of the jersey which is centered above his number “47”, which is also sewn on in orange and black tackle twill. The sleeves are capped with black and orange stripes and the right sleeve has the “MLB 125th ANNIVERSARY” patch sewn on. The Russell Athletic tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail with the “ 3” EXTRA LENGTH” flag. Smith signed his name diagonally on the “4” on the back of the jersey in black marker and inscribed “Game used” on the middle rung of the “4”. This jersey shows light use and comes with a LOA from Lee Smith.
