Michael Moorer is a three-time World Heavyweight Champion, winning the WBA and IBF titles when he won a majority decision over Evander Holyfield on April 22, 1994. Moorer had this size 11.5/44 gram 14K solid gold ring made to commemorate his achievement. It contains about four karat total weight in diamonds, with a large center stone surrounded by 40 invisible set princess cut diamonds, one of which is missing. "WORLD" and "CHAMPION" appear top and bottom, with his name "MICHAEL" and "MOORER" appearing either side. One side has the outline of a boxer with "HEAVYWEIGHT" engraved above the head, while the other side has the date "4-22-94" engraved in a ribbon at the top with the letters "WBA". These letters are filled with even more diamonds. It amazes us how certain rings, which are the reward of a culmination of years of training and sacrifice are obtained. According to the LOA which accompanies this ring, Michael Moorer put this ring up during a poker game which he obviously lost. Moorer never likely heard Kenny Rogers' song "The Gambler" and didn't "know when to fold 'em." This is a likely one of a kind ring specially made for Michael Moorer when he beat Evander Holyfield for the World Heavyweight title.
