New York Yankees star centerfielder Bernie Williams wore this navy Yankees cap circa 1995-97. Williams, who made the first All-Star Game of his career in 1997, hit .307, .305, and .328 during the three seasons mentioned earlier. The four-time World Series champion had one of the best years of his career in 1996, hitting 29 homers with 102 RBI, with Williams ending the season a World Series winner and the ALCS MVP.
This cap is a size 7, with the Yankees interlocking “NY” logo embroidered on the front of the cap. A MLB logo is sewn on the back of the cap, while “Diamond Collection”, New Era, and size “7” tags are sewn on the inside headband. This cap shows evidence of excellent wear. Williams has signed the underside of the brim in blue marker, inscribing “SDG” beneath his signature. This cap comes with a LOA from JT Sports for game use and a LOA from JSA (Y58676) for the signature.
