In 1995-96, Michael Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to an unprecedented 72-win campaign, culminating with a triumphant six-game defeat of the Seattle SuperSonics in the NBA Finals to clinch Chicago’s fourth NBA title and begin Jordan’s second three-peat. Jordan, in his first full season back from his sojourn in Minor League Baseball, won yet another NBA scoring title with a scoring average of 30.4 points per game, to go with 6.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 2.2 steals per game. The former Tar Heel won the fourth of his five NBA MVP awards in 1995-96 and was selected as the Bill Russell NBA Finals Most Valuable Player after scoring 27.3 points per game against Seattle in the Finals.

Offered in this lot are a pair of practice-used Air Jordan Concord 11 sneakers, with the left sneaker signed by Jordan himself. The sneakers are white with cream-colored accents and a Tar Heel Blue Jumpman logo and Jordan’s number “23” embroidered on both heels. The sneakers are made of white patent leather and show consistent wear. Jordan has signed the lower ankle of the left sneaker in black marker. These practice-used sneakers come with a LOA from MEARS (301713) and a LOA from the Chicago Bulls letter of provenance for the use. Additionally, there is a LOA from JSA for the signature.
