Encapsulated and graded NM-MT+ 8.5 by BAS, with Autograph graded "10" by Beckett. Hall of Famer. Gordie Howe will forever be acknowledged as one of the greatest hockey players of all time. (Although it's difficult to assess a player's value while crossing generational lines, most enthusiasts believe that Howe, in his prime, would be just as dominant today as he was in the 1950s.) This visually engaging card displays Howe's precise, familiar penmanship, with which he has used vivid black ink to create his signature. This is a very tempting, barely circulated example of a modern treasure celebrating Gordie Howe's career, and bearing a splendid rendering of the legend's autograph. Howe, who enjoyed a 26-year playing career in the NHL and was enshrined at the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1972, passed away in 2016. The card's BAS condition report: Centering: 8.5, Corners: 8.5, Edges: 8.5, Surface: 9.5. A congratulatory statement on the card's back attests to the authenticity of the signature, and serves as the manufacturer's COA. The limited-edition piece is serial-numbered "008/500." Near Mint to Mint-plus condition.
