One of the flashiest dressers in professional sports and later as a broadcaster, “Neon Deion” Sanders extensive wardrobe was enhanced by the multiple color schemes of the numerous professional sports franchises for which he played (five football teams and four baseball teams). A cross-over two sport athlete who oftentimes split seasons between football and baseball, Sanders presumably wore this size-10, red vinyl, high-top Nike football cleat as a member of the San Francisco 49ers football team in 1994 before he used it as a member of the Cincinnati Reds in 1995. “Game Worn 95 Reds vs. Cubs” is written in bold black sharpie on the shoe’s sole as well as a number “9.” Deion’s number “21” which he wore for the 49ers and Reds is on rubber tab at the top of the shoe’s tongue and white goal post is on the back of its heel. Sanders signed the outside toe of the shoe in bold black sharpie with a “21” inscription. Well-worn shoe exhibits excellent game use with dirt caked sole and worn down cleats and comes with JSA LOA certification #Y73556
