A model of consistency behind the plate for over 20 years, Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez collected 13 Gold Glove and seven Silver Slugger awards during a career that included 14 All-Star nominations and a World Series championship in 2003. Rodriguez, who debuted as a 19 year old with the Rangers in 1991, enjoyed a nice 12-season run for Texas. Rodriguez signed this white button-down Rangers home jersey from the 1995 season in bold, black sharpie on the reverse side next to his number “7.” The front of the jersey boasts “RANGERS” across the chest in red-on-navy blue tackle twill. “RODRIGUEZ” appears across the top back of the jersey in red-on-navy blue tackle twill on a white name plate, with his number “7” below in matching tackle twill. The right sleeve of the jersey features a stitched commemorative 1995 All-Star Game patch, while the left sleeve is home to a “TEXAS RANGERS BASEBALL CLUB” patch. A “Russell Athletic” manufacturer’s tag can be found on the front tail of the jersey, size 44. PSA COA verification number “X97466,” and LOA from noted sports jersey expert Dave Miedema.
