Cleveland Indians relief pitcher Jim Poole wore this white Cleveland home jersey during the 1995 World Series against the Atlanta Braves. Poole made two appearances in the World Series, pitching a scoreless inning in the Indians 4-3 loss in Game 2 in his first appearance. Poole next appeared in Game 6, picking up the loss as he let up a single run in 1.1 innings, surrendering a homer to David Justice to lead off the bottom of the sixth inning in the Braves eventual 1-0 win.
This white, button-down home jersey has “Indians” sewn across the chest in red and navy tackle twill. A 1995 World Series patch is sewn on the right sleeve and a Chief Wahoo patch is sewn on the left. “POOLE” is sewn across the back shoulders in red and navy tackle twill over a matching white nameplate. Poole’s number “62” is sewn on the back of the jersey in red and navy tackle twill. A Russell Athletic size “46” and a “95” tags are sewn on the front left tail. Please note that the bottom button on the right placket is missing, but this jersey is otherwise in excellent condition. This jersey comes with a LOA from Poole, which his signature is in turn authenticated by a COA from JSA (V16320).
