Hall of Fame center and six-time NBA champion Kareem Abdul Jabbar was presented with this offered Jim Thorpe Pro Sports Awards Lifetime Achievement award in 1995. This trophy comes in three separate pieces: a 4 x 7 x 7 inch black pedestal, a clear 7.5 x 3.5 x 4.25 inch piece with an etched image of Jim Thorpe in a USA Track & Field uniform, and a smaller 3 x 2.25 x 1 inch clear piece etched with the same image of Thorpe. A plaque on the black pedestal is etched with “1995 * Jim Thorpe Pro Sports Awards * Lifetime Achievement Kareem Abdul-Jabbar”. This award is in fair condition, with several chipped areas on the transparent parts of the trophy. This item comes with a personally hand-signed LOA from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
