Presented is a September 9, 1995, University of Notre Dame game used Wilson football presented to head coach Lou Holtz for his 200th career coaching victory. The brown pebbled leather football features the legend "Notre Dame 35 Purdue 28 Coach Lou Holtz Sept. 9, 1995" painted in yellow gold letters, along with a black and silver embossed illustration of the Notre Dame campus chapel on a lower panel. One of the top panels features the Wilson logo embossed in black and gold, above the logo "College Football USA" embossed in black. The opposite top panel again features the Wilson logo embossed in black and gold above the logo "AFCRT" embossed in black. There are two whites stripes, one each at the top edges of the ball. The second game of the 1995 Notre Dame season saw the Fighting Irish beat Purdue, 35-28, on the road at Purdue. It was Holtz's 200th career win as a collegiate head coach (with stops at William & Mary, NC State and Arkansas before his Notre Dame tenure). The 1995 Irish went 9-3, losing to Florida State 31-26 in the Orange Bowl; they finished the season ranked #11 in the Associated Press poll.
