Omar Vizquel joined the Cleveland Indians in 1993, just in time to help the Tribe begin a retooling that would lead to a pennant just two years later. The Indians shortstop used this bat during that victorious Indian summer of 1995 when he won a Gold Glove and helped bring back championship baseball to Cleveland. The blue ink transfers on the barrel are believed to come from contact with either/or the special balls used during the 1995 All-Star Game and the World Series. The Louisville Slugger M110 model bat shows heavy use and is un-cracked. Many ball marks with stitch impressions are found on the barrel along with blue ink transfers and cleat imprints. There is a heavy coat of pine tar on the handle and Visquel’s number “13” is written on the knob and barrel end in black marker. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15035) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10.
