Arguably one of the greatest Super Bowl Performances by a quarterback in the Super Bowl, Hall of Famer Steve Young threw a game-record six touchdown passes as the San Francisco 49ers defeated the San Diego Chargers 49-26 in Super Bowl XXIX. Young’s exploits earned him the much-deserved MVP Award of the Super Bowl and took the monkey of the back of following fellow Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana. Offered here is a game used football from Super Bowl XXIX and has been signed by Young. This football is a Wilson Official football with the stamp of then commissioner Paul Tagliabue and the Super Bowl XXIX logo. The adjacent panel has also has “Wilson” in gold and “NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE San Francisco 49ERS vs San Diego Chargers Miami, FL * January 29, 1995” stamped in black. Young signed his name in silver marker on one of the blank panels and inscribed “6 TD’s”. This ball displays excellent game use and comes with a COA from the 49ers authenticating that this ball was used during Super Bowl XXIX. There is also a LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
