In 1995, the Atlanta Braves won their first World Series title since 1957, when the team played on the shores of Lake Michigan as the Milwaukee Braves. The Braves were led by the Hall of Fame pitching trio of Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, and John Smoltz, while 2018 Hall of Famer Chipper Jones led the way for the offense and anchored the defense from the hot corner. The Braves defeated the Rockies and the Reds in the National League playoffs before taking down the Cleveland Indians in a six-game World Series. This Louisville Slugger bat features the names of the 1995 Braves etched in the barrel. The names of Bobby Cox, Pat Corrales, Jimy Williams, Dwight Smith, Jimmy Beauchamp, Charlie O’Brien, Jeff Blauser, David Justice, Fred McGriff, Mike Mordecai, and one more appear as signatures. The remaining names appear as printed text. This item is a great display piece from the Atlanta Braves World Series winning season!
