Hall of Famer Wade Boggs finally won a World Series, when he helped the New York Yankees win the 1996 title. Boggs, who spent the first 11 seasons of his career with the Boston Red Sox, was a key contributor to the Yankees. Boggs wore this navy Yankees cap during his last two seasons in the Bronx in 1996 and 1997. This cap displays heavy game use with numerous dirt and sweat stains present. The front of the cap has the interlocking “NY” logo embroidered in white, which has staining. The back of the cap has the MLB logo embroidered in red, white and navy and this is a New Era 59Fifty model that is a size 7 ¼. Boggs’ number “12” is handwritten black marker on the gray underside of the brim and Boggs has signed his name in blue marker next to his handwritten number. This cap comes with a LOA from MEARS for the game use and a STICKER ONLY from JSA (J91495) for the signature.
