Utah Jazz guard John Stockton wore these white, black, and silver Nike Zoom Air sneakers during the 1996-97 NBA season. Stockton made his ninth All-Star team in 1996-97, averaging a double-double of 14.4 points and 10.5 assists per game. The Jazz won 61 games in the regular season and advanced all the way to the NBA Finals, where they fell in six games to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. The former Gonzaga star is the NBA’s all-time leader in both assists and steals and was a gold medalist in both the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics and the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics. In 2009, Stockton was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

These shoes are primarily white, with black accents and a silver Nike swoosh sewn on the outside of each shoe. “ZOOM AIR” is applied to the tongue of the shoes, which are a size 12.5. Stockton has signed the toe of each shoe in fine-tip black marker, adding his number “12” to each signature. These shoes show moderate wear and come with a LOA from MEARS for game use. A LOA from JSA (Z83382) authenticates Stockton’s signature.
