Offered here is a Michael Jordan game jersey dating to MJ’s spectacular 1996-97 season. The Chicago Bulls shooting guard led the NBA in scoring, at 29.6 points per game, while adding 5.9 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.7 steals per contest. Jordan led the Bulls to a 69-13 record, just three games behind their record win total from the season prior. Jordan upped his game in the playoffs, dropping 31.1 points per game with 7.9 rebounds and 4.8 assists. The Bulls swept the Bullets in the first round of the playoffs before dispatching the Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat in five games apiece the next two series. Jordan was, unsurprisingly, the difference for the Bulls in their six-game victory over the Utah Jazz. Jordan’s most significant moment came in Game 5, “The Flu Game”, when Jordan dropped 38 over the Jazz in Chicago’s 90-88 victory despite playing the game with a bad case of the flu.
This white Bulls home jersey has “BULLS” and Jordan’s number “23” sewn on the chest in red and black tackle twill. “JORDAN” and a second “23” are sewn on the back of the jersey in red and black tackle twill. A gold NBA logo patch is sewn on the left chest. A Chicago Bulls “Body Length +3” and Champion size “46” tags are sewn on the front left tail of this jersey. Jordan has signed the front right tail of this jersey in black marker and is a vintage period signature. This jersey comes with a LOA from JSA (Z53768) and a LOA from MEARS, who have graded the jersey an A5 and states in their LOA that this jersey shows "proper and appropriate game use typical for a Jordan gamer.".
