A-Rod used this bat on September 26,1996 to hit his 54th double, and has been photo-matched to a Getty Image taken during the game. The Mizuno G49 model bat displays heavy use and is un-cracked. Many ball marks and stitch impressions are seen on the barrel along with blue ink transfers and cleat imprints. A heavy coat of pine tar is on the handle and the model number “G49” and “A” are stamped into the knob. A-Rod’s number “3” is hand written on the knob in white marker. Rodriguez has signed the bat and added “54th Double vs. Cal” on the barrel in black marker. A great A-Rod gamer with impeccable photo provenance and this bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B01872) for the game use, which has been graded a perfect GU 10 and a LOA from PSA/DNA (AC04477) for the signature.
