The presence of Roberto Alomar in the Baltimore Orioles lineup was the final component needed to make the O’s a solid contender. In 1996, his first season with the Birds, Alomar teamed with Cal Ripken, Jr. to form a solid double play combo and his .328 bat helped propel the O’s to their first post-season berth since 1983. This two-tone Louisville Slugger R219 model bat shows heavy use and has been cracked and was used by Alomar during the 1996 season. The barrel is covered with ball marks and stitch impressions along with scuffs and abrasions from contact with other bats. The bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12219) for the game use.
