Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Rodney Peete wore this green Eagles jersey on August 18th, 1996 as the Eagles visited Foxboro Stadium for a preseason tilt against the New England Patriots. New England, the eventual AFC Champions, won the preseason contest 37-10 on their home turf. Peete, a former quarterback for the University of Southern California, started five games for the Eagles in 1996, throwing for 992 yards and three scores. The Eagles went 10-6 in 1996, including 3-2 in games started by Peete.

This offered green Eagles jersey features Peete’s number “9” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in white and black tackle twill. “PEETE” is sewn across the back shoulders in white and black tackle twill over a matching green nameplate. Eagles logos are sewn on both shoulders. An NFL logo patch is sewn on the collar and an Eagles wordmark is sewn on the chest. Peete has signed the “9” on the back of the jersey in black marker. This jersey comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication Services for Peete’s signature and a LOA from RGU photo matching the jersey to the August 18th game.
