Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Hall of Famer, in a widely coveted Rookie Card appearance. Among more than 1,600 copies recorded in PSA's census reporting, only 26 cards have achieved a higher tier. Presented is a beautiful rendition of the December, 1996 Sports Illustrated for Kids Tiger Woods rookie card. Much has been written and discussed about the unusual configuration of the "true" debut collectible of this amazing athlete, and the available supply of the card is far less than would be sufficient to satisfy the hobby market. The offered example was gently and meticulously removed from its host magazine. The observer can immediately see the precision that was devoted to the extraction of the piece, and its near-total absence of blemishes or perceptible faults is equally apparent. This is a gorgeous card, with well-defined perforations and bright, solid colors. Although modern in origin, this item is bound to become even more demand-scarce and expensive as its subject's success inevitably compounds.
