Terry Pendleton wore this Atlanta Braves home jersey during the 1996 World Series. The Braves reached the World Series for the second consecutive year, where they faced the New York Yankees. The Braves fought the Yankees tooth and nail, but were ultimately unable to defend their World Series title in a thrilling six game Fall Classic.

The Braves played Games 3, 4, and 5 at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium, where Pendleton would have worn this Wilson button-down jersey. “Braves” is sewn across the chest in red and navy tackle twill above a tomahawk logo patch. “PENDLETON” is sewn across the back shoulders in navy tackle twill over a matching white nameplate, and his number “5” is sewn on the back in red and navy tackle twill. A 1996 World Series patch is sewn on the right sleeve of the jersey. A Wilson tag with attached size “46” and “Tapered” flags is sewn on the front left tail of the jersey above a “96” tag. The front of the jersey and the sleeve openings are accented with red and blue piping. Pendleton has signed his name on the number on the back of the jersey in silver marker and inscribed “Game Used World Series 1996”. This jersey comes with a LOA from Terry Pendleton.
