The Astros second baseman Craig Biggio used this stick during the sweet spot of his career. In 1997 and 1998 the future Hall of Famer hit a combined .317 with 42 home runs, winning the Silver Slugger Award and making the All-Star Game each summer. The Louisville Slugger H176 model bat displays excellent game use and is un-cracked. The back barrel shows slight checking from repeated ball contact along with several ball marks with stitch impressions and bat rack paint streaks. The knob and barrel ends have Biggio’s number “7” handwritten in black marker, and the Astros star has signed the barrel in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17123) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9 and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signature.
