In 1997, Paul O’Neill – the popular right fielder, hit .324 with 21 home runs and then the next year his .317 helped the Yankees win a record 114 games as they cruised to a World Championship. This Louisville Slugger C243 model bat shows excellent use with a handle crack. Several ball marks with stitch impressions are found on the barrel along with cleat imprints and blue ink transfers. The handle has been taped to enhance the grip and a light coat of pine tar applied. O’Neill has signed the barrel in black marker and added “98 Game Used.” This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B09076), who have graded this bat a solid GU 8.5 for the game use and a LOA from JSA (Y42125) for the signature.
