Succinctly put, Ken Griffey, Jr. was one of the most naturally gifted players to ever play the game. The 13-time All-Star was in his final three-year stint with the Mariners when he used this Louisville Slugger to not only grab the AL MVP Award in 1997 but also win the home run crown in 1997, 1998 AND 1999. As the century turned, there was no better player in the game than Junior. This Louisville Slugger C271 model bat was used by Griffey during those three seasons and shows outstanding use with many ball marks and stitch impressions on the barrel along with while leather scuffs and cleat imprints. The handle has been taped in Griffey’s distinctive crisscross fashion and a layer of pine tar applied to enhance the grip. Topping off this Griffey gamer is his signature on the barrel in silver marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13723) and has been graded a perfect GU 10 for the game use and a COA from PSA/DNA for the signature.
