Hall of Fame guard Allen Iverson wore these Reebok The Answer sneakers during the 1997-98 NBA season, his second campaign in the NBA. Iverson, the Rookie of the Year in 1996-97, averaged a cool 22 points per game in 1997-98, tossing in 6.2 assists, 2.2 steals, and 3.7 rebounds per contest as he did it all for the 76ers. The former Georgetown star continued to up his production, winning three of the NBA’s next four scoring titles and the 2000-01 NBA MVP Award. Iverson finished his career in 2010 after making 11 All-Star teams and three All-NBA First Teams. Iverson was inducted into the Naismith  Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.

These Reebok The Answer sneakers show light to moderate wear. The shoes are primarily white, with black and white accents on the heels, gold sections on the midsole, and red accents throughout. The tongue is red, with “IVERSON” stitched on in white and gold letters. “REEBOK” is stitched on the top of the tongue in black letters. A Reebok logo is sewn on shoes, with half appearing on each side of the tongue. An “I3” logo is applied to the outside heel of each shoe. A tag on the inside of each tongue reads “The Question has been Answered / Allen Iverson: Rookie of the Year 1996-1997! / 23.5 points per game 7.5 assists per game 2.1 steals per game”. A second tag, with size “11” and “Sample PYE” printed on it, is sewn beneath the “Answer” tag. Iverson has signed each shoe in black marker.
