In a career full of highlights and record-breaking, this Michael Jordan jersey stands out. The superstar wore this jersey during the April 3, 1998 game at the United Center when he scored his 29,000th career point, propelling him to a place in NBA history only Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar have been before. This is the jersey from the game in which Michael Jordan became legend.
Besides the career plateau reached that night, Jordan was also on the way to his fifth NBA MVP Award, 10th scoring title and led the Bulls to their 6th Championship. The home white mesh jersey has “BULLS” and Jordan’s immortal number “23” on the front in red and black tackle twill. The lower front left tail has the Nike size “50” label with a “LENGTH +4” hand tag. NBA and Chicago Bulls labels are sewn adjacent. Red black and white ribbing trims the neck and arm openings. The back has “JORDAN” and his number “23” in red and black tackle twill and the jersey exhibits light game use and has been photo matched to several photographs taken at the April 3, 1998 game. This museum-worthy piece of NBA history comes with a full LOA from the Chicago Bulls for the game use.
