After four all-star seasons and eight seasons total with the Cleveland Indians, slugger Albert Belle signed with the Chicago White Sox following the 1996 season. Belle would continue his all-star caliber play with the Sox as made his fifth straight all-star appearance and finished the season with 30 home runs, 116 RBI and had a solid .276 average.

This jersey features “Chicago” sewn in cursive black and white tackle twill angling upward from left to right across the chest. Belle’s number “8” is sewn on in black and white on the center left chest. The Russell Athletic tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail along with a tag that has “1997”.
