Offered in this lot are a pair of Cal Ripken Jr. 1997 game used and signed Nike “Turn Back The Clock” cleats. Ripken made yet another American League All-Star team in 1997, hitting .270 with 17 homers and 84 RBI in his age-36 season. These cleats are primarily black, with “C.R.” flanked by a pair of Nike swooshes embroidered in orange on both heels. Matching black Nike swoosh logos are sewn on both sides of the shoes. Six metal cleats are present on the bottom of each shoe. Ripken has signed both shoes in silver marker. These come directly from the personal collection of Cal Ripken, Jr. with a signed LOA from Cal accompanying these game used cleats.
