Throughout the 1990’s and 2000’s, Chipper Jones was among the best third baseman in baseball, a perennial All-Star who could hit for both power and average. In 2018, Jones was honored with induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame, finding a spot in Cooperstown on his first ballot. The Atlanta Braves superstar compiled a .303 batting average for his career while crushing 468 home runs. Jones led the Braves to a World Series title in 1995, and claimed the 1999 National League MVP Award with a Triple Crown slash of .319/45/110. Jones, the 2008 National League batting champ, retired after the 2012 MLB season.

Offered here is Chipper Jones’ 1997 All-Star Game warm up and batting practice jersey. Jones made his second career All-Star Game in 1997, finishing the season with 21 home runs, 111 RBI, and a .295 batting average. This blue mesh jersey has “NATIONAL” sewn across the chest in white and red tackle twill. A 1997 All-Star Game patch is sewn on the left chest, while a Braves patch is sewn on the left sleeve and a Jackie Robinson 50th Anniversary patch is sewn on the right. “JONES” and his number “10” are sewn on the back of the jersey. Jones has signed the “1” digit on the back in black marker. This jersey shows light wear, and comes with a LOA from JSA (Z76397) for the signature and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for game use.
