For the seventh consecutive season, Hall of Famer Frank Thomas capped off 1997 by finish in the top 10 in MVP voting. That year, The Big Hurt won the American League batting title with a robust .347 average and matched his uniform number with 35 home runs. Thomas’ Rawlings 576B model bat is un-cracked and shows excellent use. There are several tremendous ball marks and white leather ball scuffs on the barrel and The Big Hurt has signed the barrel in silver marker, completing this Hall of Fame gamer. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16168) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9, along with a LOA from JSA (Z67447) for the signature.
