At the height of the Chicago Bulls NBA dynasty the 1996-97 Bulls just missed becoming the only team in NBA history to record back-to-back 70-win seasons, settling for a tie with the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers for the second best all-time record at 69-13, and the team’s fifth NBA championship in seven years, while “His Airness” Michael Jordan won the 9th of his record 10 scoring titles.

Presented here is a Jostens 14K yellow gold championship ring for the 1996-97 Chicago Bulls championship team presented to power forward Jason Caffey. Caffey was selected 20th overall in the 1995 NBA Draft and won his second NBA title while coming off of the bench for the star-laden Bulls. This 14K yellow gold Jostens Chicago Bulls 1996-1997 championship ring features a Bulls’ head logo constructed of diamonds with silver horns on its top and has an open band. “CAFFEY” engraved in raised lettering above a relief of five Larry O’Brien NBA championship trophies and his number “35” on the right shank with “WORLD CHAMPIONS TEAM OF THE DECADE” and a background relief of the United Center with an overlapping “96-97” NBA logo on the opposite shank. The interior band is engraved with the Jostens “J” logo and “©14K”. This size 13 ½, approximately 60.26-gram ring comes with a LOA from Jason Caffey in which he states that this is his original ring presented to him by the Chicago Bulls organization.
