Presented here is a ticket stub from the NBA’s 1997 All-Star Game Weekend Slam Dunk Championship at the Gund Arena in Cleveland on February 8, 1997. Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant, during his rookie season playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, entered the Slam Dunk Championship and won the event over Chris Carr and Michael Finley with a score of 49. The presented ticket stub is labeled “NBA ALL-STAR SATURDAY” across the midsection of the ticket in white set against a backdrop of the city of Cleveland. The top of the ticket is labeled “1997 NBA ALL-STAR SATURDAY GUND ARENA FEBRUARY 8, 1997 5:30 PM” across the top of the ticket and above the seating formation for the event. The ticket contains perforation tears at the bottom and comes encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (51712068), who also gave the ticket stub a grade of GOOD 2.
