David Robinson, one of the most versatile big men in NBA history, wore this San Antonio Spurs road jersey during the 1998-99 NBA season. A powerful rebounder with a surprisingly deft scoring touch from a seven-footer, Robinson once recorded 71 points in a single game, and is one of only four players to notch a quadruple-double. During the shortened season due to the lockout, Robinson averaged a 15.8 points and 10 rebounds per game, quietly adding another building block to the foundation of his Hall of Fame career. A two-time NBA champion, 10-time All-Star, and U.S. Navy Lieutenant, Junior Grade, Robinson was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009.

“The Admiral” wore this black Nike San Antonio road mesh jersey during the 1998-99 season. This jersey has “SPURS” sewn across the chest in white and gray tackle twill, with the “U” in Spurs stylized as a spur. Robinson’s number “50”, which has since been retired by the Spurs, is sewn on the front and back of the jersey in white and gray tackle twill. “ROBINSON” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill. The NBA logo is embroidered on the front left chest area of the jersey. The bottom front left tail has the Nike size “50” tag and the “NBA AUTHENTICS” tag sewn on to the left and a “SAN ANTONIO SPURS” tag sewn on to the right of the Nike tag. The sides of the jersey feature a gray Spandex stripe bordered with a white stripe on both sides. This jersey, which shows light wear, comes with a LOA from Mears, who have graded this jersey as “AUTHENTIC”.
