Hall of Fame point guard John Stockton wore this black Utah Jazz alternate jersey during the 1998-99 NBA season, his 15th in the Association. During this strike-shortened season, the Jazz compiled a record of 37-13 and a second place finish in the Midwest Division. The Jazz made it all the way to the Western Conference Semi-Finals, where they fell in six games to Isaiah Rider, Arvydas Sabonis, and the Portland Trail Blazers. Stockton, who played in all 50 games, averaged 11.5 points and 8.7 assists in less than 30 minutes per game.
This pristine Stockton gamer features “JAZZ” sewn across the chest in white, purple, and brown tackle twill. Stockton’s number “12”, since retired by the Jazz, has been sewn on the front and back in white, purple, and brown tackle twill. “STOCKTON” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill. The jersey features purple, white, and brown accents around the collar, arm openings, and down the sides. A NBA logo patch is sewn on the left chest area. Champion size “42” and 1998-99 NBA tags are sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. This jersey shows moderate wear, and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema, who has deemed this one of the finest Stockton gamers he has seen in his decades of experience in the hobby. This also comes with a LOA from Utah Jazz Assistant Trainer & Equipment Manager Terry "T.C." Clark
