Following his impressive rookie campaign that turned the San Antonio Spurs from a 20-win team in the previous season to a 56-win playoff and title contender, Tim Duncan led the Spurs to their first ever NBA Title in 1999. Because of the owner’s lockout, the season did not start until February of 1999 and the regular season was reduced to 50 games. However, Duncan played in all 50 games and averaged 21.7 points and led the Spurs to a 15-2 playoff record, which culminated in the lifting of the Larry O’Brien Trophy.

This size 50 black mesh Nike jersey from his “sophomore” season features “SPURS” sewn on in front across the chest in white, black and silver tackle twill with Duncan’s number “21” sewn on in white and silver below the team name. “DUNCAN” is sewn on directly to the jersey in white on the back above his number “21”, which is sewn on in white and silver. The red Nike size 50 tag, along with the Spurs patch and the “LENGTH +4” flap are sewn on the bottom front left tail. The sides of the jersey feature a thick silver stripe outlined in white and the collar and open have a ribbed silver/white/black/white/silver pattern and the NBA logo is embroidered on the upper left chest. The Nike size 50 tag with the “LENGTH +4” flag”, along with the “NBA AUTHENTICS” and “SAN ANTONIO SPURS” tags, are sewn on the bottom front left tail. This jersey shows light use and comes with a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
