Alex Rodriguez was just rounding into form as baseball’s premier home run hitter when he wore this game used Seattle Mariners sleeveless home jersey during the 1998 MLB season. In his 5th season in Seattle, Rodriguez belted 42 homers for his first of eight 40-HR seasons to-date. It’s possible some of those home runs were hit while wearing this white button-down jersey, featuring “MARINERS” across the chest in navy-on-aqua-on-silver tackle twill. The Nautical Compass Rose logo adorns the upper right chest, above the “M.” “RODRIGUEZ” is stitched across the back on a white nameplate above his #3, both in navy-on-NW green tackle twill. The front left tail features the Russell Athletic manufacturer’s tag, size 46, above a stitched white tag reading “1998.” in matching style. The jersey comes with a LOA from game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
