Veteran Chad Davis was the perfect pick-up for the Yankees juggernaut of the late 1990’s. Davis’ big bat helped the Yankees cruise to the ALDS in 1998, during which he went 2-for-3 with a run scored and stolen base. Davis used this Rawlings 433B model bat during the 1998 ALDS. The bat shows excellent use with a handle crack. There is some very light checking from repeated ball contact on the back barrel and several ball marks with stitch impressions, ink transfers and white leather ball scuffs are visible. Cleat imprints are present on the front and back barrel as well as blue and green bat rack paint streaks. The model number “433B” and “AL 98” are stamped into the knob. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13087) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.
