Dan Marino helped re-write the NFL record book during his 17 season career. In only his second campaign, Marino shattered the record for most touchdown passes in a season, breaking the old record by an astonishing 12 TD’s. Marino’s new record of 48 stood by itself for another 20 years, finally falling victim to the pass-happy ways of the early 2000’s NFL. As one of the most prolific passers in NFL history, Marino racked up unheard of numbers of 420 touchdowns and over 61,000 passing yards. A first-ballot Hall of Famer, the University of Pittsburgh product has an unimpeachable reputation as one of the best signal callers in the grand history of the NFL.

Marino wore this white home jersey during an October 18th, 1998 game against the St. Louis Rams at Pro Player Stadium in Miami. Marino led the way for the Dolphins, throwing touchdown passes to Oronde Gadsden and John Avery for the only two scores of the Fins 14-0 win. Marino finished the game with an efficient 14 completions and 114 passing yards.
