In 1998 Fred McGriff returned to Tampa to play for his hometown Devil Rays. McGriff hit a nice .278 with 19 home runs in his debut season with the Rays. This Louisville Slugger C271 model bat is un-cracked and displays heavy use. McGriff’s number “29” is written on the knob in black marker and the Rays star has signed the barrel “Best of Luck, Fred McGriff” in gold marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15506), who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10 for the game use and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signature.
