Presented in this lot is a Yankee Clipper Enterprises, Inc. check signed twice by Joe DiMaggio. The Yankee Clipper was in his twilight years when this check was signed in October of 1998. DiMaggio would pass several months later, in March of 1999 at the age of 84. This check is for the value of $3,000, with the note “for Travel Per Diem” printed on the check. DiMaggio has signed the front and back of this check in blue pen as “Joseph DiMaggio”. This item is encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (83899248).
