Cleveland Indians outfielder Kenny Lofton wore this pair of black and white Nike cleats in the 1998 MLB All-Star Game at Coors Field. Lofton started in left field and led off for the American League, finishing the game 1-3 with a double and a walk in the American League’s 13-8 win over the National League. Lofton, playing in his first season for the Indians, hit .282 with 12 homers, 64 RBI, and 54 stolen bases in 1998. Lofton added 31 doubles, six triples, and 87 walks in a well-rounded season. The cleats offered in this lot are black and white size 10 cleats. A 1998 All-Star Game logo is applied to both heels. Lofton has signed both shoes in silver marker, inscribing “First Hitter / First Stolen Base” and “1998 All-Star Game Used” on both shoes. The cleats come with a Lofton LOA and two LOAs from Beckett Authentication Services. Additionally, a COA from Beckett authenticates the Lofton LOA.
