As a relief specialist, Mike Stanton did not get many at-bats during the 1998 season, but his 4-1 record helped the team win an astronomical 114 games during the regular season. Stanton struck out four in three appearances in the ALCS and gave the Yanks some bullpen insurance as the New Yorkers swept the San Diego Padres in four games. Stanton’s 1998 Louisville Slugger B349 model bat offered here shows game-ready to light use and is un-cracked. The barrel has been stamped “STANTON” in silver and there are several abrasions through from contact with other equipment. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15679) and LOA from Steiner for the game use.
